Giorgos Markopoulos, a Greek clarinettist lives in Katerini. He has been playing traditional clarinet since he was 7 and studied at the Katerini music school for 6 years, where he played the clarinet. Also, he attended a compulsory tambourine course for 3 years and a compulsory piano course for 4 years. In addition, he played Byzantine music for 6 years. In 2018, he started studying at the University of Macedonia in the music science and art department specializing in the traditional clarinet. He has participated in many events both in Greece and abroad such as Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia. What he liked about all the events is that he got to know new cultures and different music, always in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
