Hacene ZEMRANI

The saxophone player Hacene Zemrani is an Algerian native, he established himself as a jazz musician at the age of 17, performing throughout North Africa and Europe with several bands and orchestras. Since his childhood, he was interested in improvisation, composition, and jazz music that he is actually stills exploring.

Hacene is a self-taught musician, his musical education has been belt through musical travels, the sharing of musical knowledge from different backgrounds and participation to training sessions like AKDT in 2012, Jazz Puzzle in 2014, Ethno fr 2016…..etc

Hacene had the opportunity to study with several musicians from different backgrounds and cultures as Bart Defoort, Bart De Nolf, Djamel Laroussi, Pierre Vaiana, Julien Lourau, Stéphane Payen.
