Marmaduke LEFORESTIER

Marmaduke Leforestier started music at 7 years old by learning violin and guitar with Jurgen Donau.
In 2008 he started studying with Alain Babouchian and Danuta Glowacka-Pitet at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Nice in a special music class where he’s also getting lessons of trumpet, baroque violin, jazz theory, piano and opera singing. He’s part of Musique Cordiale Festival for 6 years now and of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra of the Academy of opera festival « Festival d’Aix » in 2016, 2017. He works again with Festival d’Aix in 2018 where he participates to the french premiere of the opera « Orféo & Majnun » and to the « Relay-Artists Workshop ». In 2017 he finishes his studies at Conservatory in Nice. He’s now living in Paris where he studies opera singing with Rudi Fernandes-Cardenas and jazz violin with Johan Renard, composes music for personals projects and play on others projects in many different styles.
