Simone Soro is a violinist and composer. He plays various musical genres: classical, tango, blues and jazz music. He graduated and specialized with a master’s degree in violin at the conservatory of Cagliari, Italy. He studied with Felice Cusano at the “Accademia in Fiesole” and with Marco Rogliano at the “Accademia in Pavia”.

He studied jazz at CMDL with Didier Lockwood in Paris and is currently attending a new bachelor’s course in jazz violin at the conservatory in Cagliari. He played with several orchestras and collaborated with various artists: Fabio Furia, one of the best bandoneon players in Europe; Stefano Guzzetti, pianist and composer, with whom recorded several albums, including “Leaf” and “Ensemble”; Claudia Aru, singer and songwriter, with whom played at the Italian Institute of Beijing- China and Osaka- Japan, in Bangalore- India and with whom plays regularly in Sardinia; the singer Varijashree Venugopal, member of the Snarky Puppy’s a band from New York and collaborated with Victor Wooten and Bobby McFerrin; Pramath Kiran percussionist of tablas and congas; the composer Praveen of Rao; Sri Kumaresh, Indian violinist and composer.

In 2018 Simone released his first solo-album “Me in Loop” violin and loop station.
