Matic Kuder (b. 1994) began his musical studies with his uncle Peter Kuder. He continued his education at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana with prof. Dušan Sodja. He began his bachelor studies at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana with prof. Jože Kotar and completed his Master’s degree at the College of Music and Fine Arts in Graz in the class of prof. Gerald Pachinger. In addition, he has attended masterclasses with many renowned clarinetists such as Francois Benda, Wenzel Fuchs, Mate Bekavac, Harri Mäkki, Paolo Beltramini, and Michel Lethiec, among others.
From 2017 to 2021 Matic was appointed solo clarinetist in the Nürnberg Symphony Orchestra, and from December of the same year joined the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as E-flat clarinetist.
He was also a member of the famous Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and collaborated with many international orchestras such as Hr-Sinfonieorchester, Concertbebouw Amsterdam, Ensemble Mini, Spira Mirabilis, Orchestra Leonore, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovenian Radio Orchestra, Stadttheater Würzburg…
As a chamber musician, Matic has collaborated with many musicians, including Mate Bekavac, Sergio Azzolini, members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and others. He has also performed as a soloist with the Nürnberg Symphony Orchestra, the Euphony Orchestra, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber String Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and the SNG Ljubljana Symphony Orchestra.
