The Medinea member-institutions, driven by the Festival d’Aix, gather during three days in Aix-en-Provence, in order to determine the network’s orientations for the coming year. Intercultural projects and artists’ mobility in the Mediterranean Basin are at the core of the discussions.
The main achievement of the 2018 Medinea meetings were the adoption of the Manifesto by the network’s members. The role of this Manifesto is dual:
– Bringing Medinea members together towards a common vision: identify clearly and state publicly what are the common convictions and the objectives of the network.
– Formalise the membership to Medinea: the adoption of the text as Medinea’s manifesto and complying to the membership’s principles define the network’s members.
The Medinea Network is definitely joining forces with the Cooperation Network of the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée.
