Besides its commitment to encourage women empowerment and participate in improving learning of underprivileged young people, the Orange Foundation has chosen to support Medinea’s commitments to promote a better knowledge and dissemination of diverse expressions of Mediterranean music to young artists, professionals, and audiences, to encourage circulation of artistic expression, ideas, artists, and professionals in the Euro-Mediterranean zone and to promote intercultural exchanges especially through musical practise, by being involved in the support of multiple Medinea sessions, a symphonic session of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, outreach skills sessions, Medinea meetings and the Medinea series.

Good to know

The Orange Foundation has been a faithful partner to the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, founder and member of the Medinea network, since 1999. It supported the professional development of young singers and has subsequently supported educational and socio-artistic initiatives. Between 2014 and 2019, it supported live recording and broadcasting of opera productions in several cities and venues in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region (France), thereby promoting broader access to opera.

Today, and for the next 2 years, the Orange foundation will support the activities of the Mediterranean programme of the Festival d’Aix.

This website will soon be closed.

The Medinea Network is definitely joining forces with the Cooperation Network of the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée.
