Given the current context, it is important for us to show you our commitment and involvement in the realisation of any session. We regularly monitor current events and we are in permanent contact with our partners to anticipate any changes.
Applications for these two calls are still open to all young Mediterranean musicians. If we are lucky enough to be able to organise a session, we may have to change the conditions for the selection of participants in order to comply with the health restrictions and travel permits for each country:
-Select only musicians of certain countries depending on where the session will take place or according to the health restrictions relative to each country.
-Reduce the number of participants to adapt to possible restrictions in the city where the sessions will take place.
-Change dates or locations of the sessions even at last minute…
Therefore, we would like to tell future selected candidates now that we will respect their decision to participate or not in the sessions when the time comes. We fully understand that a selected artist may wish to cancel his or her participation in view of the current sanitary context and we will respect everyone’s decision.
We are currently in the process of redesigning the Medinea session planned in Lisbon, Portugal. This reshaping is determined by all the co-producers according to the production and organisational capacities. We will surely keep you informed of every change.
Our main concern is to ensure that the sessions run smoothly in complete safety. While waiting to have more information to provide on the sessions’ progression, we assure you of our availability. We are committed to doing everything in our power to help our artists, partners and collaborators.
