Alexandros Kentris was born in Athens. He started playing the Harmonium at the age of 5 when he began studying at the conservatory. At the age of 13, he started Bouzouki lessons and obtained, at 17 years old, a Harmonium diploma. After high school, he studied Computer Science at the University of Crete, where he graduated in 2014, alongside in 2009 he started working as a professional bouzouki player. Furthermore, his interest in traditional and folk music getting bigger and bigger, in 2015, he started Bulgari lessons (Cretan Tamburas).

During these last three years, he participated in concerts abroad (Brussels, London, Smyrna), getting unforgettable and constructive musical experiences. Many figures have contributed significantly in his music education like the virtuosos of the bouzouki Giannis Papavasileiou “Vlaxos”, Nikos Tatasopoulos but also vocalist Semeli Papavasileiou.

Recently, he composed orchestral tracks and songs and participated as a bouzouki player in Matoula’s Zamani album.
