Medinea On Air is an online learning programme that aims to provide specific preparation for classical musicians and improvisers who wish to enrich their musical training. This programme is free upon registration and for all young artists -instrumentists, composers and conductors- students, professionals, researchers and the curious from the Euro-Mediterranean region and above!
This last session is devoted to more general perspectives in terms of the career development of young professional musicians. Musicians are introduced to the practice of orchestral conducting and to other notions related to artistic leadership: e.g. gender equity, and creation/collaboration with indie labels. Participants are presented with traditional Iberian and classical repertoires, and with the idea of musical dialogue — i.e. between electronic and acoustic instruments, and between different Mediterranean music influences. The topics are discussed with young artists from the Medinea programme.
If you have any questions about the Medinea on Air programme or any issue registering, please consult the Q&A section or contact us at medineaonair@medinea-community.com.
