The Creative Europe Tunisia desk organised the first edition of its annual networking event entitled “Creative Europe meetings”. Initially planned as a face-to-face event, this edition was organised as a hybrid event and was an opportunity to gather beneficiaries or eligible structures to the calls of the Creative Europe Programme. It was a great occasion to discuss the current issues of the sector, to share the participants’ experiences and for them, to create links that could lead to future partnerships within the framework of the Creative Europe programme.

9:00 PM: Closing concert with the Tunisian musical collective made of former Medinea sessions’ participants and led by Zied Zouari.

We have been invited to share the experience of Medinea in terms of professional cooperation under the aegis of the European Commission’s Creative Europe programme as well as to give an overview of the management of an intercultural project in the current sanitary context through two interventions:

·”Creative Europe in Tunisia”: Presenting the projects co-financed by the Creative Europe programme that are implemented in Tunisia.
·”Cooperation after Covid 19″: Collecting the experiences of the professionals of the sector in terms of international cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic and the perspectives of international cooperation.

To end this series of discussions, a concert performed by Tunisian musicians, former participants of the Medinea sessions, took place at the Centre for Arab and Mediterranean Music in Tunisia and broadcasted HERE. Led by the violinist Zied Zouari, the musicians (Ahmed Litaiem | Hamdi Jammoussi | Hassen Mchaikhi | Jihed Bedoui | Salah Tamzini Jbali | Sarra Douik | Seif Eddine Tbini | Wafa Abbes) rehearsed during two days to present a concert with the sweet flavour of the return of cultural events.
